This is one of my very favorite designs. I love the little girl's rosy cheeks and springy curls. I'm especially proud of the message: "Brave, Smart, Pretty - Just Like Esther!" I've seen other designs that make much of how beautiful Esther was. She may have been beautiful, but she risked her life to save her people and she did it by using her wits. Hopefully, some Jewish parents will be inspired to buy their little ones this onesie as a testament to an inspiring woman!

This is a Little Characters original. I've drawn a cute little kid in a mask (he kind of looks like Elton John to me!) shaking a gragger. This is a Little Characters design. This Sukkot onesie has a happy baby/toddler holding the etrog and lulav in front of a framed picture drawn to look like cross stitch which features a sukkah and the words, "Sukkah, Sweet Sukkah". The message shown is "My First Sukkot", but several other messages are available.

It's a great parody: it says, "Extreme Makeover: Sukkah Edition" with a logo that is extremely similar to the television show's, but it has some details from a sukkah drawn over the letters. The designer, Low Schmaltz has a lot of clever designs for the whole family.

At first, I didn't think I should create any designs for Yom Kippur. I figured fasting and repentance weren't really meant for infants and toddlers. But it is a High Holy Day, after all, so after a while I found some inspiration to create some Yom Kippur onesies and T-shirts. You'll also find a couple creations from other designers below. I only feature my favorites!

This is one of my designs - though it isn't my typical style (no drawing of a baby!) It features a big bottle with a beautiful Star of David on the label. The top says "My First Yom Kippur" and the small print at the bottom is "I'm not fasting yet!"

This is one of my designs. This little boy is wearing blue pajamas with little blue Jewish stars all over them and the message is "Yom Kippur: Sorry about all those sleepless nights!" Clearly a baby or toddler can't offer meaningful apologies, but it might be comforting to imagine he's really sorry.

This is from my store, and it's one of my very favorite designs. I think the baby has a unique look without having such strong features that parents can't imagine their own child in her face. I like her chubby arms! They remind me of when my son was a little butterball. She's holding a jar of honey and rolling apples and the message is "Extra Sweet for Rosh Hashanah." There are lots of variations available in my store including the message, "L' Shanah Tovah".

Why Create a Jewish Baby Clothes Blog?

My lens on Squidoo explains it all!

But, in a nutshell, I created this blog, because I believe that there is a real shortage of kids' clothes (especially baby clothes) with Jewish themes, and because I think I ought to highlight the small selection of great stuff that is out there while I advertise the products I designed for my store.

He has created a breathtaking arrangement of Jewish stars within stars . . . within stars. Even though it's a complex piece of art, I think it actually looks quite soft and appropriate on a baby's onesie.
